Pizza at Home of Affection?!

It's not often the kids at the Home of Affection shelter get to try international food. Last month though, thanks to the support of the DMZ bar and Little Italy, the children were given the opportunity to try pizza for the first time.

This was a great chance for the kids to experience a different kind of food. One Hue Help's main areas of focus is exposing the children to a variety of people, places and cultures. This will assist with a smooth transition to independence when the children become older.

What's more, the pizza party at the orphanage marked the beginning of DMZ bar's support for Hue Help, pledging a percentage of the profits from pizza sales to support our programs. We have very happy to have this support from a successful local business.

Hue Help received 1,840,000 VND (£70) from pizza sales in April and May 2009.
